Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Foodsofitaly.dk.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you automatically accept the terms and conditions state below. Therefore, we kindly ask you to read the terms carefully before you proceed with your purchase. 

Procedure

In order to purchase items at Foodsofitaly.dk you must fill in your personal information and payment information. Once you have chosen the item or items you wish to purchase you may proceed to checkout. When the order has been placed and the payment approved, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

At Foodsofitaly.dk we are always glad to assist if you wish to have any personal advice or if you have any questions about your purchase. Don´t hesitate to contact us at eva@foodsofitaly.dk

Shipping

All orders are packed and sent to you directly from our own warehouse in Denmark, within 3-4 days from the day you have placed your order on our webshop. A shipment fee of 49 DKK will be charged to cover shipping cost to a GLS "pakkeshop" near you. If you wish to have the package delivered to your office address, the shipment fee will be 59 DKK. We offer free shipping for orders of 650,00 kr. and above.

For orders sent to other countries we charge between 299 DKK. Deliveries will be handled by UPS within 10 – 14 days from your order.

In the circumstance of delays caused by the shipping company, Foodsofitaly.dk cannot be held responsible.  

Whilst we take great care in packaging all goods, it may still happen occasionally that goods are damaged in transport. Unfortunately it is not possible to insure food products against damage during transport. However, we do take customer satisfaction serious and, once satisfied over the validity of your claim, will offer you a refund.

As a procedure, we kindly ask you to verify the content upon delivery. Should the package or the content be damaged upon arrival please report it to us immediately, or no later than two days after receiving it.

For administrative and financial reasons we will not automatically send replacement goods and generally prefer to refund monies instead.

 

Payment methods

At Foodsofitaly.dk we accept the following cards:

VISA/DANKORT, VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, PAYPAL.

All prices are indicated in DKK and include a 25% Danish sales tax/VAT.

 

Return Policy

At Foodsofitaly.dk we will gladly accept returns within 7 days from the date of reception.

If you wish to return your order, please contact us by email with your order number and the reason for returning. Please contact us at eva@foodsofitaly.dk before sending back the item, and we will provide you with directions for return.

Cancelled orders must be received by us complete, in perfect condition and in their original packaging. Returns are processed at your own risk and expense, and is to be handled by you.

Please note that expense for the return shipment is paid by you.

Once we have received the items and checked the state of the items, we will credit the amount to the same card used for the purchase. 

 

Notification of defects

Foodsofitaly.dk trades in accordance with the guidelines and laws established by the National Consumer Agency of Denmark. Complaints can be made in accordance with the rules established by the Danish Sale of Goods Act. This means that you can make a complaint of defects and faults in the product, which has occurred within 24 months after the purchase. This does, however, not apply to defects, damages or wear caused by misuse, lacking maintenance or ordinary wear and tear. In connection with complaints, defects and faults or non-delivery of goods please contact us at eva@foodsofitaly.dk

If the complaints are entitled you will get a refund of your shipping costs with in fair limits. When you return the item please inform us about the problem as detailed as possible. Please make sure the item is delivered safe and sound and make sure to get a receipt for the shipping so we can refund the amount.

 

Goods & Conformity

We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going online. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you. We reserve the right to substitute any product with a product of the same or higher value as advertised.

 

Security

To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple, and secure, Foodsofitaly.dk uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. A SSL is a protocol that encrypts your information so that your information is kept secure while being transmitted via the Internet. It is not possible neither for us nor any other unauthorized entity to see or read data, which is exchanged in connection with the purchase.

 

Customs and tax / VAT

If you order from a country, which is a member of the EU you pay Danish VAT but no customs duty in accordance with the rules of free movement of goods. However, if you order from a country outside the EU local taxes and duties may be added, for which we cannot be held responsible, but on the other hand the Danish VAT is deducted. If this is the case the carrier will contact you. Please note that this could involve some delay of the consignment, as the goods are retained by the customs. From this point it is your responsibility to contact the carrier and pay for the added additional costs.

 

Pricing policy

Foodsofitaly.dk reserves the right to change prices of the products sold. The prices of the products will, during the time of placing an order, be valid throughout that specific process.

Foodsofitaly.dk cannot be held responsible for any currency changes or currency exchange rates any bank may have when exchanging the DKK into any other currency.

 

Disclaimer

Foodsofitaly.dk cannot be held responsible for items that are sold out at the time of purchase. Typos, changes in delivery from our suppliers and unforeseen delays that Foodsofitaly.dk cannot control can occur, and we are not to be held accountable for these.
