The peculiarities of the Calabrian soil and climate provide distinctive traits of absolute uniqueness to the peppers produced in this country.
The mixture of chillies is composed of the "diavolicchio" Diamante that gives the product a bright color and an intense aroma and "ferretto" chilli pepper of Amantea, a species grown in a small and little known portion of the Calabrian territory. This gives liveliness and a touch of "sprint" to the taste of this aromatic salt which is therefore moderately "explosive", specially made not to cover the flavors but rather to enhance them.
